The internship program is offered in the spring, summer and fall. During the Washington, DC-based program, Interns spend the majority of their time working on key projects and interacting with outside non-profit organizations. The project assignments cover facinating fields including: Policy research, Donor relations, Leadership and talent development, Marketing, Non-profit operations, Grassroots education. This hands-on experience gives Interns the chance to explore the non-profit sector, while applying the management philospohy they are learning from the Foundation. Part-time. paid-internship. Spring and fall Internships are part-time and flexible, but Interns must be available at least 20 hours each week, including all day on Tuesdays. Summer Interns are also part-time, but Interns work regular schedules, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Spring and fall Interns are paid an hourly rate of $12.00. Summer Interns are paid an hourly rate of $13.00. Unfortunately, housing is not provided. |
