What one person might not be able to do alone, many can do together. Without the help of a dedicated team to help pull him along, cyclist Lance Armstrong could not have won the grueling Tour de France — seven times in a row. Working together, Ripon’s chapter of Habitat for Humanity built an entire house — in a matter of months. Collaborating with Professor Skip Wittler and with each other, students are re-establishing 100 acres adjacent to campus as a natural prairie habitat — going back in time about 100 years.
Across the Ripon campus, examples abound of how students do more to benefit their college, their communities and themselves by working together. Each of us can do more, and be more, when we do it together.
