Ripon To Host Elite Baseball Academy Camps

RIPON, Wis. – Ripon College will be the site for a weekend of baseball camps for grades six through 12, during the weekend of October 18-19. A pitching and catching on-field camp, with advanced instruction will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, while a hitting camp will be held on the following day. Each camp will be located on Francis Field, which is on the south side of Storzer Center. Saturday's camp will begin at 12:30 p.m., while Sunday's will start at Noon. 2008 Season Preview

RIPON, Wis. - The Ripon College men's soccer team came out like gangbusters last season, losing just one of their first eight games. Unfortunately, they would win just one game the rest of the year to finish with a record of 5-9-3. This year, the Red Hawks will hope to put together a complete campaign that duplicates last year's first half. 2008 Season Preview

RIPON, Wis. - The 2008 off-season has seen the Ripon Red Hawks go through many changes, none bigger than the hiring of first-year head coach Erin Plumley, who comes to Ripon from an assistant position at DePauw University (IN), and will make her head coaching debut on August 29th, when the Red Hawks host their annual Early Bird Invitational Tournament. Plumley is the fourth coach in the program's history, and just the second in the last 12 years. Even though this is her first season, she has already settled in and is ready to compete in the Midwest Conference, where Ripon finished tied for third last year. More...
