Marcell broke two Ripon College throwing records at a pair of Last Chance Meets last week. At the Wednesday's meet at Central College (IA), she broke her own school record in the hammer with a toss of 146’7”. That breaks the mark she set last year of 144’9&3/4”. She followed up that performance by setting a new school record in the shot put at the Augustanna (IL) “Last Chance Meet” on Friday. Her throw of 42’9&3/4” broke the previous mark set by Jesse Loberg of 42’6” in 1998. Marcell’s throw was also an NCAA provisional qualifying mark for the NCAA national meet. She currently is ranked 22nd in the nation. |

| Davey finished in the top five in two events at the MWC Championships over the weekend. The sophomore finished the 5,000 meter run in fourth place, with a time of 18:53.61, while finishing fifth in the 1,500 with a time of 5:01.19. Davey was also a part of Ripon's eighth place 4x100 team, which ran a time of 57.21. |

| Bellmore placed in the top six in two events at the MWC Championships over the weekend. The freshman was third in the high jump with a distance of 6-03.25, while also finishing sixth in the triple jump with a distance of 43-02. |

| Shafer helped lead Ripon to its first-ever Midwest Conference Championship and NCAA playoff berth in school history with three wins at last weekend's Midwest Conference Tournament. The senior was instrumental in Ripon's two wins on Saturday, scoring the tying and go-ahead runs in their 6-5, nine-inning victory in the semi-finals against defending MWC Champ St. Norbert. In the tournament's four games, Shafer batted .333 (4-12) with three RBI, one double, two walks, and four runs scored. |

| Tomsheck was very impressive at Saturday's Ripon Invitational, which saw him place in the top six in five events. His best finish of the day came in the high jump, which he won with a height of
6-00.75. The freshman also placed fourth in both the 110 high hurdles (16.24) and triple jump (12-04). Tomsheck also placed in the 400 meter hurdles and javelin, finishing fifth and sixth, respectively.

| Peotter was 2-0 in her three starts last week. Her biggest outing came in the second game of Ripon’s doubleheader against Carroll, which the Red Hawks won 2-1 to clinch a spot in the MWC Tournament. In that contest, Peotter was virtually unhittable, allowing just one run on two hits, while striking out a school record 14 batters, including the final six Pioneer batters of the game. That broke Ripon’s previous single game strikeout record by three. In her three starts last week, Peotter pitched 19.2 innings, allowing five earned runs on 12 hits, while striking out 28 batters. |

| Smith helped lead Ripon to a third place finish at Saturday's Wisconsin Private College Championships. The senior placed in the top three in two events, finishing second in the 5K (16:17.97) and third in the 1500 (4:18.94). |

| Knorr started seven of Ripon’s nine games last week, going 5-1 to improve her season record to 8-6 overall. The junior left-hander allowed 10 earned runs in 43 innings pitched, while striking out 30 batters and walking just eight. Five of her seven starts were complete games, with two of those ending in shutouts of the opposition. In addition to her performance on the mound, Knorr also batted .304 (7-23) at the plate, with three RBI and three runs scored. |

| Bruce got the first win of his collegiate career last week in Ripon's 19-0 win at Lakeland. The freshman tossed a seven-inning complete game shutout, allowing just two hits, while striking out six batters. |

| Moldenhauer led the Red Hawk men's golf team to a fourth-place tie at Sunday's Ripon Invitational. The sophomore shot a seven-over par 79, which was the fourth best individual score of the tournament. He was just two strokes off the pace of the second-best golfer, and seven strokes behind the best score. |

| Beaman led Ripon to a four-game sweep over Lawrence University last week, batting .571 (12-21), with 12 RBI and 10 runs scored. Beaman crushed the ball all over the field in the series, hitting four home runs and two doubles, while starting all four games at third base. |

| Shafer started all nine games for the Red Hawks on their trip to Cleremont, Fla. She led the team in hitting, with a .407 average, while also recording a team-best two doubles. Shafer also drove in three runs, while scoring five more. |

| Kraemer is a big reason Ripon went 8-1 on their spring trip to Florida last week. The righthander went 1-0 with three saves on the week. He pitched appeared in four of the nine games, pitching six scoreless innings, while striking out one and walking one. Opponents hit .111 off of him in 18 at-bats. |
