Zimmerman ran the third fastest indoor 800 Meters in school history at Saturday's UW-Stevens Point Last Chance Meet, recording a time of 1:59.16. That comes a week after setting the school record in the event with a time of 1:58.58.
 
 

Arynn Martin

Marshfield, Wis./Columbus Catholic

Martin achieved personal best marks in four different events at Saturday's UW-Stevens Point Last Chance Invitational. That included a new school record in the Pentathlon with a score of 2,536 points, which breaks the eight year old record by nearly 200 points. Martin also set personal bests in the 800 Meters (2:45.46), Long Jump (16-01.00) and Shot Put (27-08.25).

Smith helped the Red Hawks set a school record for most points at the MWC Indoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend, totaling 97 points. Smith placed in two events, finishing second in the 5K (15:33.82) and third in the 3K (9:01.42). He also ran a leg on Ripon's Distance Medley Relay team, which took second with a time of 10:46.14.
 
 

Jessica Brungardt

Peyton, Colo./Falcon

Brungardt helped Ripon to a fifth place finish at the 2010 Midwest Conference Indoor Championships over the weekend. In the shot put, Brungardt finished fifth with a throw of 38-03, while also finishing seventh in the weight throw, with a distance of 41-04.

Schmidt entered the Ripon record books at Saturday's UW-Stevens Point Eastbay Invitational, running an All-Time top 20 mark in the 200 Meters. She currently ranks eighth in the MWC in the event and is also ranked ninth in the 55 Meters. In addition to that, Nicole ran the leadoff leg on the 4x200 relay team that placed fifth, helping the Red Hawk women to a ninth place finish out of 14 teams. 
 
 

Matt Wood

Port Washington, Wis./Port Washington

Matt broke a school record for the fourth time in just five indoor meets this winter, breaking the record in the 200 Meters for the third time this season. His mark of 22.61 at Saturday's UW-Stevens Point Eastbay Invitational helped Ripon to a 11th place finish at the meet and ranks him second in the MWC. He now has the top three All-Time 200 Meter marks for a Ripon athlete. Matt also holds the school indoor 400 record.

Rice earned three top 10 finishes at the 2010 MWC Championships over the weekend, including a seventh place time of 56.59 in the 100 yard freestyle. That time was 1.48 seconds away from breaking the school record in the event and was less than a second from finishing in fourth place. Rice also took ninth in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.92, which was .39 seconds away from the Ripon College record. She also finished 10th in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:04.27.
 
 

Scott Gillespie

Ripon, Wis./Ripon

Gillespie helped Ripon clinch a spot in the MWC Tournament for the first time in three years, with an 89-71 win over Beloit on Saturday. In that game, Gillespie recorded his third double-double in Ripon's last four contests with a 25-point, 11-assist performance. That followed a 25 point, seven-assist night earlier in the week in a near-upset of #14 ranked St. Norbert. In last week’s two games, Gillespie averaged 25 points, nine assists and four rebounds per game, while shooting 63 percent (20-32) from the field. He also converted on 77 percent (10-13) of his shots from the free throw line. His 50 points last week moves Gillespie into fifth place on Ripon’s career scoring list. Gillespie has scored in double figures in 50 consecutive games.

Meyer helped lead Ripon to three wins last week, as the Red Hawks moved into first place in the MWC standings and clinched a spot in the 2010 MWC Tournament. In wins over Beloit, Grinnell and Monmouth, Meyer averaged 14 points, eight rebounds and two assists per game. She also shot 51 percent (18-35) from the field, including 50 percent (7-14) from 3-point range. That gives Meyer at least one 3-pointer in nine consecutive games. She is shooting 60 percent (25-42) from long-range in that span and recently moved into seventh place in school history for 3-pointers made, with 64 in her career.

Roy Provisionally qualified for the NCAA National Tournament Saturday, finishing second in the shot put at the UW-Stevens Point Invitational, with a throw of 51-03.50. He also finished fifth in the weight throw with a distance of 50-05.50, which helped Ripon finish seventh at the meet out of 16 teams.

Davey helped Ripon to a fourth place finish at Saturday's UW-Stevens Point Invitational by winning the 5000 meters with a time of 20:04.62. Davey also placed in the 800 meters, which saw her finish fourth with a time of 2:45.85.

 
 

Jamie Reese

Columbus, Wis./Columbus

Reese helped Ripon finish third out of five teams at Saturday's UW-Stevens Point Invitational, as he was a part of four top-four finishes. Reese ran a leg on Ripon's second place 4x200 relay team, which ran a time of 1:34.33, while also competing on Ripon's fourth place 4x400 relay team that finished with a time of 3:35.20. Individually, Reese took home a second and fourth place finish in the long jump (21-08.25) and 400 meters (52.35), respectively.

Matter contributed to Ripon's second place finish at Saturday's UW-Oshkosh Invitational. The freshman from Sussex, Wis. finished third in the 3000 Meters with a time of 11:14.77, while also placing fifth in the mile with a time of 5:29.24. Those times are the 15th and 14th best times in school history for those respective events.

Wood helped Ripon finish second at Saturday's UW-Oshkosh Invitational, breaking a school record in the process. In the 400 Meters, Wood ran a time of 50.73, which was third in the meet and snapped the two-year old mark by less than a second. Wood also ran a leg on Ripon's 4x200 relay team, which finished first with a time of 1:37.28, while also running on the 4x400 relay team, which placed second with a time of 3:41.44.

DeHamer led Ripon to three wins last week, helping them to a 6-0 start to the conference season, which is the Red Hawk’s best conference start in six years. In last week’s three games, DeHamer recorded 16.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game, while also shooting 67 percent (20-30) from the field and 83 percent (10-12) from the free throw line. She also added a combined two steals and two blocks.
 
 

Martin Esters

Toenisvorst, Germany/St. John's Northwestern Military Academy

Esters helped Ripon win three games last week to improve their conference record to 5-1. The junior came off the bench to average 7.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. In addition, Esters shot 58 percent (7-12) from the field, including 100 percent (3-3) from 3-point range, and 100 percent (4-4) from the free throw line.

Carissa Zuercher

In Saturday's 62-61 win over St. Norbert, Zuercher scored 15 of her game-high 20 points in the first half, which helped keep the Red Hawks undefeated in MWC play. Zuercher shot 6-for-11 from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range and 4-of-4 from the free throw line. That moves Zuercher into eighth place on Ripon’s career 3-point field goals list with 49.  In addition to her 20 points against the Green Knights, Zuercher also recorded three rebounds, two assists and three steals.
 
 

Brandon Taylor

Union, Ore./LaGrand

Taylor was the only Ripon men's swimmer to post two second-place finishes in Saturday's meet at UW-Oshkosh. Taylor finished second in both the 100 yard butterfly and 500 yard freestyle with times of 59.35 and 5:30.38, respectively. In both races, Taylor was just a couple seconds off the pace of the event-winner.

Erin Lind

Ripon, Wis./Ripon

Lind led Ripon to one win in the Red Hawk's two-game trip to St. Louis, Mo. In a loss to number four ranked Washington University, Lind recorded team-highs of 18 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots. She followed that with a 22-point output in a win against Webster University, which was one point shy of her career-high. Against Webster, Lind added three rebounds and three steals. In the two games combined, the sophomore forward averaged 20 points, five rebounds, one block and two steals per game, while shooting 48 percent (14-29) from the field, 46 percent (6-13) from 3-point range and 86 percent (6-7) from the free throw line.
 
 

Scott Gillespie

Gillespie served as Ripon's leading scorer in both games of their trip to California, earning him Surf City Classic All-Tournament honors, while also being honored as the Most Outstanding Player at the event. In the two games, Gillespie averaged 24 points, two rebounds and five assists per game, while shooting 54 percent (19-35) from the field and 75 percent (3-4) from 3-point range.

Zuercher helped Ripon to a 2-0 start to the MWC season over the weekend, with road victories over Monmouth and Grinnell. Against the Pioneers, Zuercher scored a career-high 26 points on 8-of-16 shooting, including 3-of-7 from 3-point range and was a perfect 7-for-7 at the free throw line. She also added a career-high seven rebounds, to go along with four assists and four steals. In the two games combined, Zuercher averaged 15.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4.0 steals per game, while playing all but three of a possible 80 minutes.

 
 

Taylor Koth

Cedarburg, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran

Koth helped Ripon to a 2-0 start to the conference season with wins at Monmouth and Grinnell over the weekend. In those two games, the freshman averaged 11 points, 10 rebounds and one assist per game, while shooting 50 percent (7-14) from the field. That includes a 16-point effort in the Red Hawks win over Grinnell, which also saw Koth record a career-high 13 rebounds.

Jessica DeHamer

DeHamer helped Ripon to a 2-1 record last week, with wins over UW-Oshkosh and Luther College. In those three games, DeHamer averaged 8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4 assists and two steals per game. She also shot 40 percent (8-20) from the field and 78 percent (7-9) from the free throw line. Her six steals last week now give her 151 for her career, which is eighth in school history.

 
 

Aris Wurtz

Waupun, Wis./Waupun

Wurtz helped lead Ripon to a pair of wins over the weekend at the UW-Platteville Thanksgiving Classic.  In those two games, Wurtz averaged 25.5 points and 6.5 rebounds, while shooting 48 percent (15-31) from the field and 46 percent (6-13) from 3-point range. The sophomore forward also converted on 94 percent (15-16) of his free throws, while being named to the All-Tournament team. In Saturday’s win over Pacific Lutheran (Wash.), Wurtz scored 24 second half points, en route to a career-high 26.

Meister helped lead Ripon to a 1-1 record and third place finish at last weekend's Wisconsin Lutheran Tournament. In Ripon's season-opening game against UW-Platteville, Meister scored a career-high 19 points, while also recording five rebounds, five assists and three steals. She followed that up with a nine-point, three-assist performance in a win against Wisconsin Lutheran. In the two games combined, Mesiter shot a team-high 75 percent (12-16) from the field.

Perrine had a day to remember in Ripon's season-opening victory at Coe College. The senior guard scored a career-high 18 points in the game, including a 3-pointer at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime. He also added three assists and two rebounds, while shooting 54 percent (7-13) from the field, including 40 percent (2-5) from 3-point range.
