Meet Jill Cardinal

Jill joined Ripon’s community in 2013 as the Campus Visit Coordinator working primarily on organizing recruitment events and daily visits for prospective students.  Jill now serves as the Assistant Director of Admission and continues the management of recruitment events for prospective and accepted students both on campus and virtually. She has a recruitment territory covering the western half of Wisconsin, as well as Indiana and Ohio and oversees our student worker telecounseling campaigns.  Additionally, Jill assists any high school groups who request to visit campus, such as College Possible and Upward Bound.

Jill is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, where she earned a bachelor’s degree with a major in Sociology. Prior to coming to Ripon College, she spent her career in non-profit organizations in fundraising and event planning, including 13 years working for the American Cancer Society and several years as a caseworker and Director with Big Brothers/Big Sisters.  In her free time, she enjoys painting, DIY projects, reading, craft fairs, kayaking and watching her teenage daughter, Aubrey, cheer at Ripon High School football games.
