Assistant Director of Counseling Services

Ripon College seeks a full-time academic year (10 month) Assistant Director of Counseling Services to begin August 2023. This position reports to the Director of Counseling Services.
College Counseling Services is an on-campus resource providing students with personal counseling. The Assistant Director will be responsible for providing assessment, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, referral to appropriate psychiatric/medical personnel, consultation and educational/preventative outreach programming.
Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in counseling or a related field and be licensed in Wisconsin: LPC, LMFT, or LCSW. A minimum of two years of experience with direct client contact in mental health counseling is necessary. The candidate should exhibit cultural competence and demonstrate an understanding of the benefits of diversity in a higher education community. Interest in college student development and student-athlete wellness is desirable.
All offers of employment are contingent on either showing proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID 19 (currently one dose of the Johnson and Johnson or two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine and boosted) or should community levels deem it necessary be part of COVID-19 surveillance testing.
