Ripon College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position as Assistant Professor/Instructor of Computer and Data Sciences to begin August 2022.

The successful candidate will oversee and have the opportunity to shape the young program in Computer and Data Sciences.  Computer and Data Science offerings provide the foundation for four integrated majors: Computer Science/Mathematics, Computer Science/Physics, Computer Science/Chemistry, and Interdisciplinary Computer Science.

PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry preferred.  Candidates with a Master’s degree and significant relevant experience will be considered.  Candidates must be able to teach programming, data analysis/visualization, data structures and algorithms, artificial intelligence, and applied machine learning.  All Ripon College faculty advise students, provide service to the college, and contribute to Catalyst, our distinctive core curriculum. The expected teaching load is 6 courses per year or equivalent. Faculty members are expected to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching of courses, student mentoring, and service.
