Ripon College is accepting applications for the position of Director of Recruitment and Strategy. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment, this position serves as a key leadership team member. The Director of Recruitment and Strategy contributes to developing, managing, and implementing communications campaigns to achieve recruitment and revenue objectives. The Director creates or collaborates in creating email, text messages, publications, videos, websites, advertising, and social media content to support the admission recruitment and communications plans. This position will directly oversee and supervise staff in the specialty recruitment areas of graduate, transfer, regional, and STEM recruitment. The position collaborates closely with team members on the admissions team, the Office of Marketing and Communications, and third-party vendors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: May include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
- Execute admission communication plans and campaigns, including the creation of digital, social media, email, text, video, website, and other content. Coordinate and ensure the content, logistics, proper segmentation, and specifications for all direct mail and digital admission content and communications.
- Serve as an Office of Admissions leadership team member, providing insight and guidance to support the recruitment program’s success.
- Collaborate with the Vice President for Enrollment to assist with the management of all third-party vendors.
- Initiate, plan, and execute special communications projects in alignment with the office’s goals.
- Oversee the recruitment strategy and staff for our specialty recruitment areas, including graduate admissions, transfer admissions, and regional and STEM recruitment.
- Complete regular reports related to recruitment, projections, personal schedules, travel, special programs, and professional development.
- Collaborate with various college partners to enhance the college’s recruitment program, primarily focusing on the Office of Marketing and Communications.
- Manage and create content on prospective student-oriented pages of the College’s website.
- Adhere to all College policies and procedures regarding travel and other requirements.
- Participate in on- and off-campus admission events, information sessions, and other recruitment activities as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support enrollment growth.

Work Relationships: Works directly with other Office of Admissions staff members, the Office of Marketing and Communications, and other key campus constituents. Daily contact with prospective students and their families, current students, staff, faculty, alumni, school counselors, and persons outside the campus community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with the Slate CRM system.
- 7-10 years of related experience in admissions, recruitment, or student services within a college setting.
- Four or more years of experience as a content developer or manager in marketing, communications, digital engagement, or related fields.
- Experience with supervising staff.
- Required to maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
