Faculty and Staff Honored at Awards Convocation

During the 2013 Ripon College Awards Convocation, a number of Ripon College faculty members were singled out for their dedication, commitment, and excellence.

James R. Underkofler Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award

Timothy Petersik J. Timothy Petersik, professor of psychology. The award is given in honor of James Underkofler’s 48 years of service to the utility industry.
 

 

 

 

May Bumby Severy, Class of 1908, Award

skipwittler George “Skip” Wittler, professor of biology. The Faculty Development Committee and Dean of Faculty evaluate and identify recipients of this award from nominations received from faculty and students for excellence in undergraduate teaching.

 

 

 

 

 
Senior Class Award

HatcherJoe Joe Hatcher Jr., professor of psychology. This award is given to a faculty member who the senior class feels best exhibits a commitment to helping students realize their full potential by challenging them in and out of the classroom.
