Seasonal Lessons & Carols concert Dec. 13

Professor Sarah KraazA service of Lessons & Carols will be presented by the Ripon College Collegium Musicum, directed by Professor of Music Sarah Mahler Kraaz, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts.

This service, traditionally performed by English cathedral choirs during the season of Advent, will consist of readings from the Old and New Testaments and carols sung by the Collegium alone and together with the audience, accompanied on the Bedient organ. Selections range from 16th-century motets to contemporary Nigerian and Domenican settings of carols.
