Art Faculty in the News
Rafael Salas, associate professor of art at Ripon College, recently authored a review in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel of “Magic Mud: Masterworks in Clay from RAM’s Collection,” an exhibit currently showing at Racine Art Museum.
Salas, a painter and a regular contributor to the Journal Sentinel’s Art City section, writes that the exhibit displays, “a curatorial gravity that is both contemplative and sophisticated.”

Salas’s own work is currently on display in a separate exhibition in Rhinelander, Wisconsin along with that of Ripon College Associate Professor of Art Molly Oblinger and five other Wisconsin artists. Their work is part of a show at Rhinelander ArtStart titled “WisconsinCity: State-of-the-Art.”
