Ripon College collaborates in business-planning seminar
The Ripon College Creative Enterprise Consultants and Ripon Main Street Inc. will host a free business-planning seminar Thursday, Feb. 11 (Rescheduled from Feb. 2). The seminar will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Silver Creek Room at the Ripon Public Library. The discussion will review some of the basics that go into developing a start-up business.
Those interested also may sign up for the upcoming entrepreneurial workshop scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Feb. 16. This eight-week course will take entrepreneurs through a step-by-step approach to writing a professional business plan.
A partnership, formed by several Ripon groups and businesses, plans to provide access to resources and capital would-be business owners need to start and sustain their enterprises. This new program will be available to potential and existing retail, service, entertainment and manufacturing prospects.
