Professor of Music Kurt Dietrich to perform with wind ensemble Sunday
Kurt Dietrich, professor of music and Barbara Baldwin DeFrees Chair in the Performing Arts, will perform with the Wisconsin Symphonic Winds Sunday, Aug. 28. The concert will begin at 3 p.m. in the Music Hall, Arts and Communications Center, at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Dr. Devin Otto, guest conductor, will lead works by Fucik, Ticheli, Grainger, Dello Joio, Williams, Whitacre, Maslanka and Fillmore. Tickets will be sold at the door.
Dietrich is the principal trombonist in the ensemble. They play two concerts a year, one in June and one in August.
