Area judges to discuss sentencing during Ripon College panel Oct. 27
A panel of judges who all are graduates of Ripon College will be held Thursday, Oct. 27, on the campus. The discussion will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Todd Wehr 104. All are welcome to attend.
The panelists will be Gary Sharpe, ’73, Circuit Court Judge, Fond du Lac Co Branch 4; Jon Wilcox ’58, retired Wisconsin Supreme Court justice; and Guy Dutcher ’87, circuit court judge, Waushara County.
The discussion, “Has Justice Lost Its Heart?” will focus on the role of humanity and judges within sentencing. The panel is sponsored by the College’s Pre-Law Society.
