‘The Daily Beast’ editor to speak at Ripon College March 27

Erin Gloria Ryan, senior editor at “The Daily Beast” and cohost of the podcast “Girl Friday,” will give the Ripon College Women in Numbers keynote address March 27, in celebration of Women’s History Month. Ryan is known for her pop culture and political journalism. The program will begin at 4:30 p.m. in Kresge Little Theatre, East Hall, on the campus. All are welcome to attend at no charge.

A native of Frederic, Wisconsin, Ryan has written extensively on politics, women’s rights, and the media’s “absurd” coverage, for publications such as The New York Times and Playboy. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame and currently lives in New York City.

Her appearance at Ripon College is co-sponsored by the Center for Politics and the People and the Women’s History Month Planning Committee.
