Lon Michels, artist alumnus, to give presentation April 29
Lon Michels ’84 of Lodi, Wisconsin, a nationally exhibited artist, will give an artist lecture at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at 314: Ripon College Project Space in downtown Ripon. Refreshments will be provided, and the talk is free and open to the public.
The 314 Arts Series is sponsored by the Kohler Foundation.
Michels will discuss his work and his career as an artist. Michels holds a degree in studio art from Ripon College and a master of fine arts degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison.
His work is owned by many private collectors as well as by the Museum of Wisconsin Art
and the permanent collection of art at Ripon College.
