Kurt Dietrich quoted in article about UW-Madison Jazz Week
Kurt Dietrich, professor of music and the Barbara Baldwin De Frees Chair in the Performing Arts, was quoted in an article about UW Jazz Week at the University of Wisconsin-Madison April 23 in the Wisconsin State Journal. Dietrich earned his Ph.D. from UW-Madison and is the author of the recently published book Wisconsin Riffs: Jazz Profiles from the Heartland.
Dietrich’s book was published this month by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press. He will be in Madison June 6 for a 6 p.m. book signing at the Wisconsin Historical Museum.
