Eddie Lowry gives presentation at state convention
Eddie Lowry, the Marie Zarwell Uihlein Chair in Classical Studies, gave a one-hour presentation on “Exclusus Amator: The Lover Shut Out” at the Latin sessions of the annual conference of the Wisconsin Association of Foreign Language Teachers (WAFLT) in Appleton Nov. 2.
The content of this Roman culture presentation supported the conference’s general foreign language theme of “Unlock the Doors: Explore a World of Opportunities.”
Lowry received the WAFLT Distinguished Educator Award in 2013 and was president in 2000-02.
