Power of Pollinators family event will be held Saturday

Power of Pollinators, a free, family-friendly community day of discovery, will be held all day Saturday, May 4. Organized collaboratively by Ripon College Sustainability and the Ripon Public Library, activities will be held on the Ceresco Prairie Conservancy, in the library and in The Heist in the Treasury building during its opening weekend.

Events include yoga, prairie and South Woods walks for both children and adults, bee and native plant workshops, story time and arts/crafts for children, all led by community members, Ripon College representatives and Ripon College students.

The day will conclude with a reception featuring a local band, Ripon students’ artwork, and a performance by the Ripon College Chamber Singers. Plants and seeds will be given out during the day at the various activities.
