Ripon Summer Players performs radio drama adaptation
“Seven Keys to Baldpate,” a radio play adaptation, will be presented May 31 through June 2 at the Ripon Public Library. It is presented by Ripon Summer Players in its 23rd season and is sponsored by the Ripon College Department of Theatre and the Ripon Noon Kiwanis.
The “mysterious melodramatic farce” is adapted from the original stage play by Broadway’s legendary George M. Cohan. It will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the Silver Creek Room of the library, 120 Jefferson St.
Among the cast are Jack Christ, emeritus professor and director of Leadership Studies; Bev Christ; Robin Woods, professor of English; Jim Tronoff of Ripon, Wisconsin; Doug Northrop, Helen Swift Neilson professor of cultural studies emeritus; Robert “Spud” Hannaford, professor of philosophy emeritus; Linda Galubitz DeCramer ’89 of Princeton, Wisconsin; Tom Hamami, assistant professor of business management; Katy Crane, individual campus visit coordinator; Sarah McGowan; Race Rohde ’20 of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Brian Reilly of Ripon, Wisconsin.
There is limited seating, and tickets are available at Ripon Drug and at the door.
