We’re still here: Heidi DeCaluwe ’20
Her experience working in the theatre department will stand her in good stead when Heidi DeCaluwe ’20 of West Bend, Wisconsin, goes on to graduate school this fall.
She will be studying for a master’s of fine arts in costume design and production at the University of Arkansas.
At Ripon, she is a theatre major with a double minor in studio art and music.
The most important lesson she learned at Ripon College is “that you get out of any experience what you put into it,” she says. “The harder you work, the more you will achieve.”
While finishing the semester remotely, “I have been working on creating art in my free time and doing everything I can to still create something beautiful,” she says.
