Class of 2021: Ava Conrad
We celebrate the Class of 2021, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.
Ava Conrad ’21 of Waukesha, Wisconsin, is majoring in elementary education with a minor in psychology. She will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to study for an education specialist degree in school psychology. While in graduate school, she also hopes to work in an elementary school.
“What I have learned in the past four years is stay true to who you are and what you value,” she says. “There are many people who will change and may disagree with you, but at the end of the day you cannot please everyone. All you can do is the next best thing.”
She says her favorite memories involve participating in the half marathon course and running a half marathon in the Ripon Community/Ripon College run walk in 2019, as well as attending Phi Delta Theta formals throughout the years.
