Therace M. Risch ’94 promoted in executive leadership position
Therace M. Risch ’94 of Frisco, Texas, has been promoted to executive vice president and chief information and technology officer at American Electric Power. The new position will be effective July 1.
Risch leads technology initiatives across the business, including information technology, innovation and digital initiatives. She also will oversee the company’s cyber and physical security organization.
She joined the company in May 2020 as senior vice president and chief information and technology officer. Previously, she was executive vice president and chief information officer for J.C. Penney Co.; executive vice president and chief information officer at COUNTRY Financial; and vice president of technology delivery services at Target Corp.
At Ripon, she majored in mathematics and economics.
