Alicia Rytlewski ’10 to perform piano, voice recital April 26

The Ripon College Jazz Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts. All are welcome to attend, and masks are required to be worn. The director is Paul Dietrich, adjunct instructor of music.
The program will be selected from: “Dance You Monster To My Soft Song,” by Maria Schneider; “Moten Swing,” by Buster and Bennie Moten, arranged by Ernie Wilkins; “Nzembo Na Mvula Zamba (Song of the Rainforest),” traditional Bambuti chant, arranged by Fred Sturm; “The Queen Bee,” by Sammy Nestico; “Quietude,” by Thad Jones; “Take Off (From Time to Time),” by Paul Dietrich; “That Warm Feeling,” by Sammy Nestico; “Ummm,” by Ayn Inserto; and “Well, You Needn’t,” by Thelonious Monk, arranged by Ian McDougall.
