Martin Farrell will present discussion about Quad Alliance Feb. 28
Professor Emeritus of Politics and Government Martin Farrell will present a talk at 6 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Manitowoc Public Library. His discussion of the Quad Alliance is part of the library’s Great Decisions lecture series.
The Quad Alliance is an informal alliance between the United States, India, Japan and Australia that is committed to a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific region.
“As global events have increasingly become domestic concerns, the Great Decisions series has become a more vital resource than ever before,” the library states. “It takes you beyond the headlines with essential background information, relevant facts, ever-shifting policy options, and impartial analysis.”
A virtual livestream of the presentation will take place simultaneously. The livestreams will be available on both the library’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/manitowoclibrary) and YouTube channel.
The live lecture location has limited seating capacity, so registration is required here.
