Class of 2022: Guadalupe “Lupita” Aviles ’22

We celebrate the Class of 2022, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.

Guadalupe “Lupita” Aviles ’22 of Wichita Falls, Texas, majored in Spanish with a minor in studio art. She will study for a master’s degree in Latin American studies at the University of New Mexico.

“The most important lesson I learned at Ripon was to ask for help when you need it,” she says. “Even though you might not believe in yourself, there are always others who see your potential and support you.”

Her special memory is visiting Devil’s Lake State Park with her friends. “It was fun to hike the trails and end the day with a nice picnic,” she says.
