Class of 2022: Lydia Wiley Deal ’22

We celebrate the Class of 2022, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.

Lydia Wiley Deal ’22 of Whitewater, Wisconsin, majored in music education and physics with a minor in mathematics. She will student teach in the fall, then find a job teaching middle school or high school band.

“The most important thing I learned at Ripon is that you should never turn down an opportunity to learn — you might discover some new things about yourself along the way,” she says.

“My favorite memory is the Chamber Singers tour my senior year. It was wonderful to see us all grow from a group of singers to a close-knit group of friends.”
