Art exhibit by Rafael Francisco Salas on view in De Pere

“Summer’s End,” an exhibit by Professor of Art Rafael Francisco Salas,” is on view through Sept. 22 at Baer Gallery, Bush Art Center, at St. Norbert College in De Pere. A reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 8.

The exhibit is described as imagining “a metaphorical change of season. It is an oblique atmospheric meditation on political and social divides. The landscape emerges as an emotional rather than a literal one. The county fair at summer’s end is a place of reckoning, full of innocence, and innocence lost.”
