The Ripon College Chamber Singers will participate in several activities this spring.
Choral Festival and concert: A Choral Festival will be held Tuesday, March 21, at the College. Eighty high school students from five schools — Ripon, Waupun, Sheboygan North, Little Chute and Cedar Grove-Belgium — will be hosted for a full day on campus immersed in learning and community through choral music.
The day will culminate in a concert at 4:15 p.m. presented by the massed choir of high school students.
Tour and concert: The Chamber Singers will be go on Spring Tour March 23-25. They will visit and share music at four high schools: Waupun, Williams Bay, Deerfield and Dodgeland School in Juneau, Wisconsin.
They also will visit with the director of choral activities at Carroll University.
Public concerts will be given at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Middleton; and at 7 p.m. Friday, March 24, at First United Methodist Church in Whitefish Bay.
The tour will culminate in a home concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 25, in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts. Selections will include an eclectic program exploring themes of peace, love and community.
