Seven area high schools to be represented at Ripon College Band Festival April 24
Eighty-two students from seven area high schools will participate in Ripon College Band Festival, to be held Monday, April 24.
Participating schools are Horicon, Oakfield, Princeton, Ripon, Valley Christian School, Watertown and Waupun. During the all-day band festival, students will work with Ripon College music faculty, preparing the music for a concert that will conclude the day.
The concert will begin at 4:30 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts. Admission is free and open to the public.
The festival is wholly funded by a generous gift from Robert Booty of Oshkosh, performs as a community member with the Ripon College bands.
