Ripon College Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combo to perform Nov. 3

The Ripon College Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo will perform Friday, Nov. 3. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, on the campus. Admission is free and open to the public.

Selections will include “Dancing Sunlight,” by Christine Jensen’ “Stolen Moments,” by Oliver Nelson, arranged by Paul Jennings; “Black and Cardinal,” by Joe Clark; “Chant,” by Bob Mintzer; “Caravan,” by Juan Tizol; and “What Did You Say?”, by James Miley.

Jazz Combo will perform “Blue Train,” by John Coltrane; and “The Preacher,” by Horace Silver.

The director is Paul Dietrich, adjunct instructor of music.
