Artwork by Rafael Francisco Salas to go on view in West Bend exhibit
Work by Professor of Art Rafael Francisco Salas has been selected to be included in the exhibit “Wisconsin Artists Biennial 2024.” The exhibit will be on view from Feb. 3 through April 14 at the Museum of Wisconsin Art, 205 Veterans Ave, West Bend, Wisconsin.
A reception will be held Saturday, Feb. 3. A juror talk will be held from 1-2 p.m., a reception from 2-4 p.m., and remarks and awards at 3 p.m.
Jurors for the exhibit were: Robert Cozzolino, the Patrick and Aimee Butler Curator of Paintings at the Minneapolis Institute of Art; Sandra Jo Martinez, a symbolist painter from Milwaukee working on paper and creating hand woven tapestries; and William Hernández Luege, Curatorial Fellow for Visual Arts at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
