Isaac Tomaschefsky ’24 to present violin, guitar recital April 20

Isaac Tomaschefsky ’24 of Green Bay, Wisconsin, will present his senior violin and guitar recital Saturday, April 20, at Ripon College. The program will begin at 3:15 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts. Admission is free and open to the public.

His guitar selections include pieces by Matteo Carcassi (1792-1853), Fernado Sor (1778-1839), Agustin Barrios Mangore (1885-1944), J.S. Bach (1685-1750), John Dowland (1563-1626) and Thomas Campion (1567-1620).

His violin selections include “Elfentanz,” by Ezra Jenkinson, “Méditation” from “Thaïs,” by J. Massenet, “Gigue from Partita No. 3 in E major,” by J.S. Bach, and “Three Old Viennese Dances,” by Fritz Kreisler.

Adjunct Instructor of Music Deb Mackenzie will be the accompanist.

Tomaschefsky is majoring in music. He has been accepted as a volunteer for the Peace Corps in the Philippines as a youth development facilitator after graduation.
