Ben Cabala ’24 will present senior flute recital April 27

Ben Cabala ’24 of Madison, Wisconsin, will present his senior flute recital Saturday, April 27, at Ripon College. The program will begin at 4 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts. Admission is free and open to the public.

Selections will include “Pavane,” by Gabriel Faure, arranged by Jack Ham; “River Flows in You,” by Yiruma, arranged by Bevani Flute, Flute Sonata in G major, HWV 363b, by Georg Friedrich Handel; “Sonatina,” by Eldin Burton; “Spring,” by Herman Beeftink; and “Syrinx,” by Claude Debussy.

Cabala is majoring in music education. After graduation, he will student-teach, then hopes to teach in the Madison area.
