Natalie McNeely ’25 earns scholarship to advance biology, environmental studies

Natalie McNeely ’25 of Neenah, Wisconsin, has received a scholarship from the Garden Club of Greater Milwaukee. The competitive scholarship is awarded to students in Wisconsin pursuing studies in plant or horticultural sciences.

“I am thankful to receive the scholarship as it will help me to further my studies and pursue a career as an environmental educator and botanist,” McNeely says.

She is majoring in biology and environmental studies and did specialized research with Associate Professor of Biology Ben Grady through the Summer Opportunities for Advanced Research (SOAR) during the summer of 2023.
