Students to direct plays in One-Act Play Festival May 2-3

Ripon College is pleased to announce new articulation agreements with five institutions—Alverno College, Carroll University, Elmhurst University, Johns Hopkins University, and Rosalind Franklin University—that will provide streamlined pathways for Ripon students to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
The need for highly educated nursing professionals continues to grow, and Ripon College is committed to meeting this need by offering its students top-tier opportunities for continuing their education. These partnerships will allow Ripon College graduates who meet the qualifications to seamlessly transition into MSN programs at these institutions, which are known for their excellence in nursing education and their strong reputations in healthcare.
President of Ripon College, Dr. Victoria N. Folse, who is an advanced practice nurse herself, expressed excitement about the opportunity these agreements bring to students. “These articulation agreements further our commitment to preparing Ripon College graduates for meaningful careers in healthcare. Partnering with such respected institutions ensures our students have the support and guidance they need to pursue advanced nursing degrees and meet the growing demand for healthcare professionals.”
Through these agreements, Ripon students who complete the necessary prerequisites will be guaranteed admission or given preferential consideration for direct-entry MSN programs, allowing them to complete their graduate studies in an seamless manner, while leveraging the foundation of their liberal arts education at Ripon College. Students will benefit from tailored academic advising at Ripon College, ensuring that they are fully prepared for their chosen graduate nursing programs.
Ripon College’s partnership with Johns Hopkins University, one of the top-ranked nursing schools in the nation, highlights the College’s dedication to providing its students with exceptional educational and career opportunities. Similarly, Rosalind Franklin University and Elmhurst University are known for their innovative nursing programs, while Alverno College and Carroll University also bring a rich tradition of healthcare education to the collaboration. Allowing graduates to select from programs in Wisconsin, Illinois and Maryland allows students to select the fit that is best for them.
