Theatre department to present “Almost, Maine” Nov. 13-15

Ripon College’s theatre department is presenting the play “Almost, Maine,” with performances in the Benstead Theatre of the C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, Nov. 13-15, at 7:30 p.m.

“Almost, Maine” by John Cariani is a whimsical series of short scenes set in a fictional, remote town, where residents experience the magical, mysterious and often surreal effects of falling in and out of love. Blending humor and heart, the play explores the many forms love can take: unexpected, painful, hopeful and strange.

“‘Almost, Maine’ is a family-friendly comedy that will warm your heart this holiday season,” Assistant Professor of Theatre Lillian Brown said. “The play explores the themes of love and loss in a deeply moving, thought-provoking and honest way. I hope our production will give you something to smile about as the winter months grow colder. Grab your loved ones and head over to the Benstead Theatre for an unforgettable night of live entertainment.”
