Music Department Student Recital

Ripon College applied lesson students, nominated by their studio professors, will present an afternoon recital of solo and chamber works. Professor Deb MacKenzie will collaborate on piano. This event is free and open to the public

Lawn Concert

Join the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Rally Band for an outdoor concert on the steps of Great Hall. Grill-out dinner and beer/wine (for those of age) are available for students and the public from Sage Dining outside The Spot. Inclement weather location is Demmer Hall.

Symphonic Wind Ensemble concert

The Ripon College Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform “The Suite Life” – a concert consisting of suites of music by Edvard Grieg, Clare Grundman, and Florence Price.

HS Band Festival

llege’s high school band festival. The day will culminate in a concert at 4:15 PM. The event is free for high school students, and the concert is free and open to the public.

HS choir students (and their directors) from the area are invited to attend a day-long choral festival.

Senior Recital: Owen Mehring, baritone

Baritone Owen Mehring (’25) will present a recital of works for solo voice and piano. The program will include repertoire by J.S. Bach, Manuel Ponce, Clara Schumann, and Ralph Vaughan Williams, among others. Professor Deb MacKenzie will collaborate on piano. This event is free and open to the public.

Senior Recital: Lucie Petri-Rose, Mezzo-Soprano

Lucie Petri-Rose (’25) will perform a senior recital of classical and contemporary works for voice and piano. The program will include repertoire by W.A. Mozart, Clara Schumann, Robert Schumann, and Sergei Rachmaninoff, among others.
