Hervé Somé, educational studies, publishes opinion pieces
Hervé Somé, associate professor of educational studies, published two political opinion pieces related to the coup in Burkina Faso on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2015, against the government of transition to democratic institutions after ex-President Blaise Compaore was ousted by a popular rising on Oct. 31, 2014.
“General Diendere’s game is up!” was published Sept. 18, 2015, and “Amnisty or amnesia for the coup plotters: what an insult to the intelligence of the people!” was published Sept. 24, 2015. Both were published in Lefaso.net, and online journal in Burkina Faso, and Netafrique.net, a West African online journal.
