Ripon College Orchestra performs Dec. 6
The Ripon College Orchestra will perform a free concert on Sunday, Dec. 6, on the College campus. The concert will begin at 3:15 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts.
The program will include “Overture to Coriolanus,” Opus 62, by Beethoven; “Five Variants of ‘Dives and Lazarus,’ ’” by Ralph Vaughan Williams; and “Symphony No. 40 in g minor,” K. 550, by W.A. Mozart.
The players include both students and community members. The conductor will be Kurt Dietrich, professor of music and Barbara Baldwin De Frees Chair in the Performing Arts.
