Student-led walking tour on April 15 will recognize influential Riponites
“Those Who’ve Called Ripon Home,” a walking tour highlighting distinguished Riponites, will be presented from 7-9 p.m. April 15. The tour will begin at 314: Ripon College Project Space on Watson Street in downtown Ripon. All are welcome to attend.
Project developers are Holly Erickson ’18 of Union Grove, Wisconsin; and Zachary Peterson ’16 of Bloomer, Wisconsin.
“I was approached by Professor of History Emeritus Bill Woolley to develop a walking tour that would recognize locally and nationally influential Riponites,” Peterson says. “With guidance of Associate Professor of History Rebecca Matzke and Woolley, Holly Erickson and I have developed a tour that will recognize 17 Riponites through displays put on exhibit throughout the community after the April 15 open house at 314.”
Appetizers and light refreshments will be served at 314.
