Ripon College, Agnesian HealthCare sponsored vaccination clinic Tuesday

Ripon College and Agnesian HealthCare, a member of SSM Health, collaborated Tuesday, April 6, to vaccinate 184 students, faculty, staff and members of the Ripon College community. The College was happy they could provide the clinic to their employees in a convenient on-campus location, says President Zach Messitte.

“Since the beginning of the pandemic, the safety of our faculty, staff and student body has been of paramount importance, and the next step in that process is to make sure as many people as possible who work, study and care about Ripon College are vaccinated,” he says. “We are thrilled to partner with Agnesian and SSM to make sure that our community has full and easy access to COVID vaccinations with a clinic on our campus.”

Ripon College has been operating with a mix of in-person and virtual classes since opening for the 2020-21 academic year last August. More than 667 students are living on campus this semester.
Agnesian HealthCare team members prepared and administered vaccine doses throughout the day. Those vaccinated at the onsite clinic received the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, which means they will need only one dose to complete the vaccination process.

Agnesian HealthCare continues to vaccinate all eligible Wisconsinites, according to Missy Tate, Agnesian Work and Wellness director. “The use of a mobile, on-site vaccine clinic model with large employers and other institutions, like Ripon College, allows us to offer both a convenient location for large groups, while maintaining our routine vaccine clinic hours across our three vaccination sites in Fond du Lac, Ripon and Waupun,” Tate says.

Anyone interested in receiving a vaccine — whether an Agnesian HealthCare patient or not — can schedule one of three different ways:

  • Online scheduling at agnesian.com/vaccine
  • By phone at 920-926-8400 weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • SSM Health MyChart

Agnesian HealthCare and SSM Health are committed to vaccinating as many individuals as efficiently as possible. To date, SSM Health in Wisconsin has administered more than 160,000 total doses of vaccine.
