Class of 2021: Ellyce Klawitter
We celebrate the Class of 2021, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.
Ellyce Klawitter ’21 of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, is majoring in computer science with a focus in studio art. “I plan to do some freelance work to build up my portfolio in graphic art and hope to eventually move out of state to seek employment in a bigger city,” she says.
“The most important lesson I’ve learned is that it’s important to ask for help when you need it. Although it may be difficult to do so at first, there are so many people around you who want to see you succeed and are more than willing to help you out along the way.”
She says a special memory from her time at Ripon College is working at Willmore Center, and health and wellness facility, for the past two years. “Maddie Koster was the best boss and an even better mentor,” she says. “I will never forget the fun memories made there with friends and coworkers.”
