Class of 2021: Conrad Winkelman
We celebrate the Class of 2021, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.
Conrad Winkelman ’21 of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, majored in politics and government, communication and economics. He will work at Our Saviour’s parish in Ripon.
He says the most important lesson he learned at Ripon is, “Do what you do, best. Live life with passion and vigor as our days are numbered; focus on what you can control and enjoy the rest.”
A special memory he has is “founding RCPI (Ripon College Paranormal Investigators) and taking trips to multiple haunted locations across Wisconsin. One of our most exciting trips was to Indian Mound Scout Reservation in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where we investigated reports of a dangerous entity preying on the wildlife. There’s nothing like stuffing 25 college students into a cabin on a 200-acre lot with ghost-hunting equipment and saying, ‘Go crazy!’”
