Class of 2022: Inesha Wiseman ’22

We celebrate the Class of 2022, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.

Inesha Wiseman ’22 of Hazel Crest, Illinois, majored in biology and with minor in theatre. She will return to Ripon under the Ripon Plus program to do more research work with zebra fish under Associate Professor of Biology Barbara Sisson, and continue her passions of theater and volleyball.

“The most important lesson I have learned while being at Ripon is to get involved with as many things as you can,” she says. “One of the many great things about Ripon College is that there are so many opportunities to get involved in different groups and organizations to not only help build leadership, but also help you feel fulfilled. Four years go by really fast, and I want my lasting impression to be that I involved myself with everything I could and made my stamp on this campus!”

She says a special memory for her was being involved with the Soul Food Sunday event held by Black Student Union in 2019. “The people I was on exec with were more than just their positions, we were good friends,” she says. “We laughed together, cooked together and cried together when we realized that would be our last time together.”
