Class of 2022: Tyler Bair ’22
We celebrate the Class of 2022, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.
Tyler Bair ’22 of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, majored in exercise science-human performance with minors in strength and conditioning and coaching. He plans to work as a coach/trainer at a gym. He also will be taking classes at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and eventually apply to attend a physician’s assistant program.
The most important lesson he learned at Ripon College, he says, is “If your future self does not inspire you now, then it’s time to take a step back and evaluate what you’re doing now. This lesson can be applied to school, training and even relationships with friends and family.”
A special memory from his time at Ripon is finally beating Illinois College in football during his final season. “We were down at halftime but came back to beat the blue boys in a close ending,” he says. “Another special memory was freshman year when we moved in during football camp. A close friend of mine — now — knocked on my door and invited me to come hang out when I was between friend groups. Ever since then we have been extremely close.”
