Class of 2022: Cameron Zimmerman ’22
We celebrate the Class of 2022, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.
Cameron Zimmerman ’22 of Aurora, Illinois, majored in chemistry. “After graduation, I plan to take a gap year and work,” he says. “For work, my hope is to get a job related to my degree with a focus in sales. During my time off, I also plan to study for the PCAT and look into pharmacy graduate school programs. From there, I can decide if I want to continue working or attend pharmacy school.”
He says the most important lesson he learned during his time at Ripon is that “hard work, planning and patience can get you through anything. Learning to balance my rigorous chemistry courses, baseball, COVID and other parts of life was no easy task. However, planning and working hard to get ahead, as well as sticking to a schedule, allowed me to make the most out of my time at Ripon, while patience allowed me to adjust to anything not factored into my schedule.
“I will never forget the memories and relationships I made with my teammates in the baseball team. On and off the field, the times we had and the bonds we created will last a lifetime.”
