Class of 2022: Alicia Contreras ’22
We celebrate the Class of 2022, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.
Alicia Contreras ’22 of Janesville, Wisconsin, majored in politics and government with a minor in national security studies. She plans to work for a year while she applies for graduate school.
The most important lesson she learned during her time at Ripon College is “to live in the moment and stop every once in a while and take it all in,” she says. “Nothing will ever be the same, so it’s important to appreciate the moment.”
She adds, “Some of my favorite memories are my friend group and I going to Florida for spring break and going to the movies with my sisters to see superhero movies.”
