Class of 2022: Abigail Stitgen ’22

We celebrate the Class of 2022, what they have achieved during their years at Ripon and what they hope to achieve in the next chapter of their lives.

Abigail Stitgen ’22 of Lodi, Wisconsin, majored in chemistry with minors in English and psychology. She will attend graduate school at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to pursue a Ph.D. in chemistry.

She says the most important lesson she learned at Ripon is to “take advantage of the opportunities presented to you. You never know what will have a lasting impact on your life; for all you know, it could be advantageous for your career or could lay the foundations for an everlasting friendship.”

Of her special memory, she says, “During freshman year, me and my roommate would go to Mugs every weekend to do homework for the upcoming week. I have not been so productive since then, and in the past year we have tried to resume the tradition.”
